Human Economy Lab
Research for a fairer economy and society
Human Economy is an innovative, interdisciplinary field dedicated to observing and analyzing people’s economic needs and lived experiences.
Its mission is threefold:
1-To complement and enrich traditional economics by introducing fresh ideas and approaches from other disciplines;
2-To amplify the voices of individuals and communities;
3-To generate concrete, policy-oriented solutions that ensure research has real-world impact.
Human Economy addresses some of today’s most urgent challenges—including debt, gender inequality, poverty, sustainable development, and rising inequality—by offering creative, actionable responses aimed at building a fairer economy and society.
At its core, Human Economy seeks to restore dialogue across disciplines, fostering collaboration to produce more relevant and community-centered insights. Drawing on the humanities and social sciences, it expands the scope of economic thinking and unlocks a wider array of policy options.
Conceived broadly, Human Economy will serve as an incubator for bold ideas, bridging research and practice in pursuit of economic justice and collective well-being.
